1000 Rejections

Introduction
Anastasiia Bespalova (“we,” “our,” or “us”) built the 1000 Rejections app (the “App”) to help users track their journey to 1000 rejections. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
1. Data You Provide
When you use the App, you may enter the following information:
- Asks: Text descriptions of what you asked for (max 100 characters)
- Categories: Career, Money, Social, Personal, or Other
- Person/Company: Names of people or organizations you asked
- Notes: Additional context you choose to add
- Reflections: Learnings from rejections
- Settings: Your rejection goal, reminder preferences, and reminder times
2. Automatically Collected Data
Current Implementation (Local Only):
We collect basic usage analytics stored locally on your device:
- App open events
- Ask creation events (status, category, whether notes were included)
- Status change events
- Milestone achievements
- Feature usage patterns
This data never leaves your device.
Current Implementation (Local Only):
All data is used solely to:
- Display your rejection progress and statistics
- Calculate streaks and milestones
- Send local notifications (if enabled)
- Provide the core functionality of the App
We do not:
- Transmit your data to external servers
- Share your data with third parties
- Use your data for advertising
- Sell your data
Data Storage and Security
Current Implementation (Local Only)
All your data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms. Your data:
- Remains on your device
- Is protected by your device’s security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
- Is included in your iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device
- Is deleted when you uninstall the App
Data Retention
Your data persists on your device until you:
- Use the “Reset Progress” feature in Settings
- Uninstall the App
- Manually delete the App’s data through iOS Settings
Third-Party Services
Current Implementation:
The App does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics providers.
Data Sharing
Current Implementation:
We do not share your personal data with any third parties.
Export Feature
The App includes a CSV export feature that allows you to download your data. When you use this feature:
- The exported file is created locally on your device
- You control where you save or share this file
- We have no access to exported files
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data (available through the App interface)
- Export your data (CSV export in Settings)
- Delete your data (Reset Progress in Settings, or uninstall the App)
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy
- Posting the new Privacy Policy within the App
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
